This month near Tupelo Mississippi a two vehicle car wreck took the life of one person and injured three others. Sources say the accident happened during the afternoon hours on February 14th, 2012 just outside the Tupelo city limits. The wreck involved a total of four people including a young child.
Deborah Hamilton was driving a Dodge intrepid and traveling down the off ramp on Highway 82 onto the Highway 45 alternate roadway. Hamilton was traveling eastward down the road on the exit when she was struck on the left hand side by southbound Natasha Powell.
Deborah Hamilton was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by Highway Patrol officers. Her passenger Temeria Poe was immediately transported to the Baptist-Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle for treatment of her injuries. Natasha Powell and her three year-old passenger were also immediately transported to Baptist-Memorial Hospital Golden Triangle.
