At Richard Schwartz and Associates, P.A. we are dedicated to making Mississippi a better place to live for everyone. This year we have continued with our trick-or-treat safety campaign for the children of Mississippi. We want every child to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween holiday this year and advocate the following safety guidelines for kids and their parents;
1. Trick-or-Treat in your neighborhood.
2. Make sure older kids go out with their friends.
3. Younger children should be accompanied by an adult.
4. Set a time limit for children to trick-or-treat.
5. Remind kids not to enter a strange house or car.
6. Wear white or reflective clothing, and bring a flashlight.
7. Parents should always check out the candy before it is eaten.
McGruff the crime dog and Richard Schwartz have visited schools all over Mississippi educating children on the importance of trick-or-treat safety. This year we have visited several schools in Meridian, Greenville, and Jackson Mississippi. The following pictures are from Northeast Elementary school in Meridian, Mississippi and Trigg Elementary school in Greenville, Mississippi.

Richard Schwartz and McGruff spoke to the children about each of our trick-or-treat safety rules, and then provided reflective trick-or-treat bags to each child. We hope that this will encourage these children and the others around them to be safe this Halloween. Richard Schwartz will also be at the Turtle Creek Mall for Halloween to hand out trick-or-treat bags and educate families on proper trick-or-treat safety.
The children of Mississippi are our greatest assets, and should be protected. Always advocate safety during Halloween and other holidays so accidents can be prevented. It is our job to keep these children safe!
