  • Deadliest Day for Teen Drivers

    May 20th is the deadliest day for teen drivers according to studies done over the last five years by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and Allstate. While there is still no specific reason this day is so deadly,  many wonder if graduation parties could be the reason. At least 450,000 teens are hurt or die in car accidents every year.

  • New Car Seat Guidelines

    The American Academy of Pediatrics has adjusted their recommendations for toddlers riding in motor vehicles. They now recommend that all children 2 and under sit in rear facing car seats, unless they exceed the size limit for the seat. Car accidents are the number one cause of death in children and proper installation and usage of car seats is an important prevention measure.
