Most of the issues are due to not focusing on the road or not following road signs or road rules. Here is a list of some of the most common causes of car accidents:
- Tailing other vehicles, especially 18-wheelers
- Unsafe speeds
- Running a stop sign or stop light
- Failing to use a turn signal or slow down during a turn
- Weaving through traffic
- Being distracted by passengers, radio, cell phone, etc.
- Improper merging, yielding or passing
- Driving without headlights during bad weather, dusk or after dark
There as just a few things that can cause a car wreck. Make sure you pay attention to all road signs and avoid distractions. Richard Schwartz and Assocaites want everyone to stay safe on the roads, but if you have been involved in a car accident or 18-wheeler accident be sure to call them.
